According to the book of James in the Bible, no human being can tame the tongue, as it is a “restless evil, full of deadly poison.” While humanity can tame wild animals, only through divine intervention—specifically the power of the Holy Spirit and the gospel working in a person’s heart—can the tongue be controlled.
At this Equip we’re talking about the dangers of words; we say so many of them and often without a thought! God wants us to use our words to build, not bury, the Body of Christ. Let’s talk about it!
